The United States War Dog Memorial was unveiled on the grounds of the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Holmdel on June 10, 2006. The life-size bronze statue was created by Bruce Lindsay which cost $100,000 and depicts a soldier in Army fatigues kneeling besides his German Shepherd.
