Man o' War (March 29, 1917 – November 1, 1947) was an American Thoroughbred who is widely considered one of the greatest racehorses of all time. Several sports publications, including The Blood-Horse, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, and the (AP) Associated Press, voted Man o' War as the outstanding horse of the 20th century.
In 1977 the big casket was dug up, and Man o' War was moved, along with his statue, to Kentucky Horse Park. Not only did Man o' War live nobly, he died nobly as well. His groom and pal, Will Harbut, died suddenly in October, 1947.

A bronze statue of Man o’ War by Herbert Haseltine was erected over the grave in October 1948. In 1977 Man o’ War’s remains and the sculpture were moved to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, where they remain today.

A stylish pamphlet recalls the entire racing history and legacy of Man O War who most rank over Secretariat as the greatest horse of the 20th century.
